Thank you for visiting our Web site. I hope you find it an informative and helpful resource for learning about our organization. As a non-profit organization, Hale Makua has a 60-year tradition of providing healthcare to older adults and those who need skilled care at home on Maui. Our mission, Excellence in Healthcare...In Our Home and Yours, signifies our commitment to provide the best care we can whenever our staff touches someone who needs our assistance. We serve over 500 people of all ages in our longterm care facilities, day health center, and in homes across our community.

We are a recognized leader of post-acute healthcare in Hawaii. Our tradition of caring serves people of all walks of life. Our focus is to celebrate life and honor the journey for the people we serve.

Our board of trustees provides the community oversight for our organization, which started over a half century ago, to care for those who need long-term care and home health services.

I invite you to look over our programs and services that are highlighted in the pages of this website and to call us if you have questions, if you want to volunteer, or if you can help us raise funds to continue our work.
