In-House Rehabilitation
The goal of Hale Makua’s inpatient rehabilitation program is to help you successfully return home. Our rehab outcomes meet or exceed national standards. We achieve these results by combining skilled therapists, state-of-the-art treatments, and a beautiful garden setting where we provide fun activities, tasty meals, and 24-hour nurturing care that allows you to focus on getting better.
What services are provided?
- Comprehensive rehab therapy services 6 days per week
- Continuous care by a team of licensed, certified, caring professionals
- Physical therapy
- Occupational therapy
- Speech pathology
Our team works with your physician to develop a coordinated plan of care. A home visit is made with you to determine your need for any adaptive equipment and to modify your therapy program to prepare you for your return home.
Our clients include those affected by a physical disability, accident or illness, including:
- stroke or other neurological conditions
- arthritis
- hip or other fractures
- hip or knee replacement
- amputation
- cardiac disease
- cancer or cancer treatment
- pulmonary disease
- traumatic brain injury
