A. Please click here for more information regarding Medicaid.

Q. Is there a waiting list for Hale Makua?

A. We do not technically have a wait list where the first person on the list is the first person admitted. At times, we have more admission referrals than space available. All referrals are reviewed by nursing staff for medical appropriateness, and we admit those who are most appropriate for the particular bed that is available. For example, a female and a male will not be placed in the same room.
